19th C Anglo Indian campaign ebony Matara quill box

This is a beautifully worked Campaign style Indian Anglo quill box made sometime in the 1800's. These were made in Ceylon which is now Sri Lanka.. Given its age, it is in pretty darn good condition... a couple of the side inlays missing.  The hinges will need to be repaired or replaced. It is said that the most desirable of these sort of boxes come from Matera. This box is 8 1/2" long by 6 1/2" wide by 3 1/4" tall. I very much admire the workmanship of these pieces.
