The Applied-Biosystems 7500 RT PCR Machine provides you with flexible implementations, advanced thermal cycling, and quick results. This real-time PCR is a potent 5-color system that works with a wide range of existing dyes and can be calibrated to accept new dyes without the need to add new filters. The ABI 7500 is an ideal choice for multiplexing, thanks to the multi-component algorithm that minimizes cross talk. This PCR system also supports assays such as gene expression analysis, pathogen quantitation, SNP genotyping, and isothermal, and makes use of prepackaged TaqMan Assays, cutting down on optimization time. The ABI 7500 RT PCR Machine operates using a 96 well plate, a reaction volume range of 20-100uL with a dynamic range of 9 logs, a block ramp rate of 2.5°C/sec, and a sample ramp rate of 1.1°C/sec. This PCR utilizes powerful controlling software with a setup wizard, standard curve dilution, quality control flags, data filters, and recipe calculators. Should your lab’s needs change this Real-Time PCR can be upgraded at a later time to a FAST System.
