Albert Arthur Allen was one of the most famous nude photographers of the 1900-1920s

By nude photographer I do not mean he wore no clothing while taking pictures but that he took photos of nude people. His specialty was outdoor nudes of young ladies.
This sort of thing caused him endless trouble, while some in the 1920's had started to embrace this sort of thing, others had not and he found himself arrested on numerous occasions.
Albert Arthur Allen did not let this stop him, he published several books including this one.
This string bound book is the first of 4 simply titled ALO Studios 1. It was published in 1920.
Inside are 33 photos one is colorized, and the rest are black and white.  They feature Nude women, mostly in outdoor settings, copyrights vary from 1916 to 1920.
It is in great shape, with little wear (the worst is a small tear in the back cover (pictured)
Not bad for a 99 year old book.
The book is 6 1/4 wide by 9 1/2 inches tall, the photos inside are 4 inches by 6 inches
