Description
Applied Biosystems StepOnePlus Real-Time PCR and laptop with StepOne version 2.3 software, pulled from Thermo Fisher lab. StepOne 2.3 provides instrument control, experiment design, data collection, and data analysis capabilities, and also includes capabilities to collect melt curve data for High Resolution Melt (HRM) applications and the option to export in RDML for compatibility with MIQE guidelines.The system passes all optic and cycle test diagnostics, and experiments were designed, sent to the instrument and run with no errors. All menus were navigated and all functions are accessible and respond correctly. The touchscreen works perfectly and the display is bright with no issues. The system also includes the cable to connect the instrument to the computer. I did not calibrate the instrument, and you will need to do calibrations runs for your dyes before using the system.
