If you plan on towing a trailer or RV with electric brakes your vehicle must have a corresponding 7-Way RV plug and wire that runs to your brake controller unit inside the vehicle. This bundle accomplishes that. If your vehicle only has a 4-Flat connector, this kit is necessary to convert your existing 4-Flat into a 7-Way. In addition this kit includes all wires going to both the battery and the wires needed to go to the connector located at the rear of the vehicle. It is easy to install, OEM style Wiring for up to 1-3 axles.
If your vehicle does not have any trailer wiring connection on it whatsoever, you will first need to purchase a regular 4-Flat Wiring Kit from our website, and then purchase this kit in to complete the job. This kit requires that you already have a 4-Flat wiring for installation.
This is an economy kit with only the necessary components required for the brake controller install and function. It does not include an optional auxilary wire which runs from the battery to the 7-Way which can be used to re-charge a battery on your trailer. If needed this wire can be purchase seperately
