Item Description
This is a great disc brake set manufactured by Kodiak. This is one of their 5 bolt 3,500lb capacity integral disc brake kits. This particular brake kit has Dacromet coated hubs / rotors and brackets but is paired with their Stainless Steel calipers. This is Kodiaks part # 2/HRCM-10-DAC-SS. This kit is designed to fit on 3,500lb capacity axles using the standard 4 bolt brake flange.
This is Kodiak's Integral set which means the hub and rotor are cast together as one piece. This means that the hub and rotor are machined together which minimizes rotor runout and provides a smoother ride. The hub is a 5 on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. This trailer disc brake kit will fit with 13 inch or larger wheels.

(2) Dacromet coated 10 inch vented hub and vented rotors that are cast as one piece.
The vented rotors help dissipate heat quickly
(2) Dacromet coated caliper mounting brackets.
(2)Calipers that are 100% STAINLESS STEEL inside and out except for the brass fittings where your brake lines run in.  The brake pads are made of ceramic so that they will not rust and have stainless steel backing plates.
(4) Stainless Steel caliper mounting bolts.
Fits The Following Bearings and Seals for your 3500lb Axle (NOT INCLUDED):
Inner Bearing 1 3/8 " (68149)
Outer Bearing 1 1/16" (44649)

We think this kit is the best bang for your buck.  The most important part of any disc brake kit is the calipers.  In this case the calipers are made of stainless steel and will provide many years of trouble free service.  The parts that are easily replaceable such as the hub/rotor and mounting brackets are Dacromet coated to help keep costs down.
Kodiak offers a 3 year warranty on all of their Dacromet coated parts, a 6 year warranty on the Stainless Steel calipers and a Lifetime warranty on the ceramic brake pads that the calipers use.
