The Video BNC Balun Transceiver is a passive (non-amplified) device that allow the transmission of real-time monochrome or color CCTV video signal over the cost-effective Unshield Twisted-Pair (UTP) cable. The flexible mini coax cable lead allows the product to fit neatly inside CCTV camera back boxes and dome camera enclosures. Used in pairs, the CCTV Balun eliminates costly and bulky coaxial cable, allowing CCTV security and surveillance equipment to be connected using standard structured cabling techniques for neater and more streamlined cabling.
    Features
Better EMI and RFI interference rejection than coaxial cable
BNC coax to screw terminals: No need to waste time crimping RJ-45 connectors
Extend transmission distances: transmitting video signal up to 2,000 feet thru CAT5 cable
High immunity from interference: built-in impedance coupled device and noise filter
Lower cable cost: The cost of baluns plus Cat 5 cable may less than traditional wire. Especially for high cost Plenum Coax cables.
Male BNC connector mounts directly to camera or video source
Passive devices: do not require power
Quality video over ordinary twisted pair cable
Reduce installation cost: UTP cables physically smaller than coax alternatives, more cameras through a smaller diameter, extremely easy to install and terminate
Utilize existing wiring: already have structured cabling systems, simply connect a balun at each end of the cable run to transmit your signal
