Stratagene Mx3005P Multiplex
Quantitative Real Time PCR System CLEAN / MINTY A+.
Cosmetically, this piece of equipment is near flawless - the only flaw I could find was what appears to be some spilled substance on the well plate. I tried to show in pics. Other than that it appears to be flawless. Extremely clean inside and out.
Without software I was unable to do any testing beyond power-up. The data light flashed some on powering on then remains solid. For this reason I am selling as pictured, without warranty. I have no reason to believe it isn't fully functional - if there is a known problem, the university almost always indicates equipment is for repair but that's not guaranteed...
Condition: This device is tested for power on only. Without software, I am unable to do any further testing. While it appears to be in excellent condition, I can't tell if it will need some maintenance, lamp replaced or other attention. For that reason, item is sold
as-is / as-pictured and as-described, without warranty.
*********After running at idle for a while I noticed the top plate is warm (not hot, just warm to the touch). I'm assuming this is normal but wanted to report it  in case it's not supposed to be. Also the top/upper (mid right, looking at back) is not running but the other two are.
That's about all I know about the device. I've tried to provide as much information as I can but again, without software I'm unable to test unit. I'm going to call Stratogene and see if demo software might be available - if so I'll certainly update the listing.
If anybody has software or a loaded laptop, I'd be interested in renting it for a day!
