This Thermolyne Amplitron II Thermal Cycler with 96-well aluminum block is used. Although not fully tested, the Amplitron II is understood to have been maintained in excellent working and cosmetic condition.
The Amplitron II will come supplied with a photocopied set of instructions.

The Thermolyne Amplitron II is a self-contained unit with proven compressor based mechanical refrigeration and electronic heating technologies. [The] unit has a fully integrated aluminum block with 96 precision drilled holes for 0.2 mL microcentrifuge tubes. The block is covered by a photo-opaque lid to protect light sensitive samples. The lid may incorporates a heating element.
The front panel contains an alpha-numeric liquid crystal display. There are keys for the numbers 0-9, an ENTER key, a DWELL key, a PROGRAM key, and three dual function keys, CANCEL/RESET, YES/START and NO/PAUSE. A light indicates "Power" which lights up once the power has been turned on.
The Amplitron II  has an unpackaged weight of approximately 60 lbs.

Mailing & Shipping
Generally, we do not mail or ship items based on a flat rate charge. This saves our buyers from being charged unfairly, and prevents confusion in the case of multiple auction wins.
If payment is made using PayPal, the item will be mailed or shipped the same business day (excluding weekends and holidays) that payment is received. If PayPal payment is received after 4:30 p.m. EST (M-F) or during a weekend or holiday, the item will be mailed or shipped the next business day.
Most light-weight items will be mailed using the US Postal Service. Our company policy requires that USPS Delivery Confirmation be arranged for all items mailed. Delivery Confirmation allows us to monitor the delivery status of packages, and helps in locating those that are lost or misdirected. Delivery Confirmation is free for items mailed Priority Mail. At your own discretion, you may elect to request we arrange insurance coverage.
For heavier items, we will compare prices between the US Postal Service and other carriers. Usually we use UPS Ground, but you may request another shipper.
Returns
If we have inaccurately described the item or it fails to meet - or operate in accordance with - our description, we will be happy to accept returns. You will have a three day inspection period on delivery of your shipment. It will not be possible to request the return of the item after the inspection period ends.
