1 killed in N.J. apartment fire, officials say

One person was killed in an overnight apartment fire in Mercer County.
The fire broke out shortly before midnight Friday with one person pulled from the residence on the 1700 block of Klockner Road in Hamilton, the union for the Hamilton Fire Department said Saturday morning.
A spokesperson for the Hamilton Fire Department later confirmed the fire “involved a fatality,” before referring questions to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
The prosecutor’s office couldn’t immediately be reached for additional information.
